400ml decent vodka

200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish

Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Place all the items inside a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating so the sugar melts. Then, remove from the burner allowing it to reach room temperature entirely. Pour into a sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for around a month.
To make Batch Mix: Pour the specified liquid ingredients in a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Pour 85ml of your premix into your stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring lightly for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter into an frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
